The Chimeran War

The Chimeran War was a planetwide conflict between Humanity and the parasitic alien race known as the Chimera. The war began in December 12 ,1997 starting in Soviet Union in Siberia initially not grab Russian attention until the city of Krasnoyarsk was attacked. And went dark the immediate response was a massive military attack by the Soviet Union recapturing the city but the day after they recaptured the city they lost it to a spire missile attack wiping out the invading army.
This causes Soviet Union great alarm calls came out for a nuclear response immediately by the supreme Soviet which was agreed upon 27 low yield nuclear weapons were fired at the infected area but by then the chimeric had already launched spiral attacks into China and other parts of the Soviet Union and Mongolia. An this caused 30 more nuclear missiles to be fired into affected areas in the Soviet Union.

After this the Soviet Union president Mikhail Gorbachev called for an emergency meeting of the Security Council and informed all countries of the threat.

China's immediate response was to do the same as the Soviets and launched two Neutron bombs into the infected areas in china . And 12 nuclear warheads into Mongolia infected areas afterwards using warheads fighters and bombers to begin sterilizing Areas that had been infected with massive firebombings

besides the initial damage and destructive power of nuclear weapons the attacks were failures bodies that were not destroyed in the initial blast or by being incinerated began to mutate as if nothing happened the chimeric seem to be immune to nuclear radiation and fallout. Later chemical weapons were used to the same effect only to be complete failures.

By 2001 US and NATO forces were allowed into the Soviet Union to help push back the chimeric.US also bring a effective missile that was originally meant to intercept intercontinental ballistic missiles that was able to shoot down Chimeric spiral missiles. Effectively neutralizing their ability to infect areas.

2004 was the year containment the United Nations and resolution 777 required member states to send military forces to repel the chimeric. Just as NATO and Warsaw Pact forces were pushing back chimeric forces.

2007 was the last year of the war the last remaining chimeric strongholds were destroyed.

2010 human forces effectively secure all infected areas and declare all areas to be secure but it was not until 2020 that all areas infected by the camera virus to be Safe to live in again.
