Persian Gulf War

The liberation of Kuwait went the same as in our world. But the United States decided to invade and liberate the rest of Iraq.After several fierce battles in the South most notably the Battle of Basra and Battle of Jallibah. In the north The Kurdish Rebellion had started the United States landed over 110 special forces soldiers to assist the Kurds in their fight turkey nearly intervened but the attempting to invade the Kurdish held territory's were stopped by the United nation and the US military who had already made it to Baghdad and were pushing north so turkey backed off.

The final battle of the war was the Battle of Samarra Saddam Hussein personally lead his forces there Saddam Hussein was killed in a battle either by an airstrike or a artillery barrage. One month later his sons were found. refusing to surrender they were killed in a gunfight. An so ended the Persian Gulf War.
